I want one of these so damn bad. I'm not paying the crazy prices for one that some people are asking for theirs that they bought just to turn a profit on it though. I'll wait til the supply catches up with the demand if I have to.

I feel the same way about every new gun. I made that mistake once on the XDs and now I know better.

Looks like I'll be waiting a while longer before I pick one of these up. Sig needs to get their shit together when comes to their striker guns or just stick to what they do best and just keep making all steel DA/SA pistols...

This has been a problem for a while. I figure fuck it, I’d still pick one up on a good deal to practice with and get used to while they’re working out bugs. They will warranty it.

What they do best is their 1911s ... those "awful extractor" 1911s kick the ass of just about every other make of 1911 on the market ... too bad no one wants to admit it ;)

I had a Sig nightmare carry 1911 that I loooooved. Should have never gotten rid of it.

Actually S&W has a better EE(external extractor) design on their 1911's. Ask any reputable 1911 'smith and they will tell you. If I HAD to have a 1911 with an EE it would be a S&W E Series.

Their 4.25” E series is the dopest 1911 ever. We’ll top ten for sure lol.

Yeah, I really miss my Sig RCS Sport 13. Can’t hardly find used ones anywhere

I’m onto a new method of trading now days. I only trade shit that’s a dime a dozen or no one gives a shit about it. I have traded off a handful of guns that I kick myself for to this day.

And as I recall, you shot all 5 of mine at the range and claimed the Scorpion was your favorite because it had the flat trigger ... so stop with the Sig-hate, Nancy ;)

I did like the Scorpion the best because of the flat trigger, but that's only because I prefer flat triggers. I'm not hating on Sig. They do make a good 1911 and they do come with features not found on similarly priced 1911's. I'm just not a fan of external extractors, and I was simply stating that S&W has a better designed external extractor on their 1911's. Hell, one of my top 5 favorite 1911's I've ever owned was a Sig Nightmare Carry chambered in .357 Sig(and you yourself know how many 1911's I've owned and what kinds so that's saying a lot).

Look, we get it, you're a Sig 1911 fanboi. You are entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to give you shit about it...as long as you'll still let me shoot your suppressed Scorpion Carry next time we go to the range.;)

It's usually my daily
I want the Scorpion Carry TB. I like Commander sized 1911s. And everyone knows how I feel about FDE/desert tan. One day I'll find one and be cool like you.

I used to love Commanders but I prefer CCO's now for carry. If I'm gonna have a full-size frame I might as well have a full-length slide as well.

Finally picked one up at lunch today. Ready to try it out, but it may be a while before I get to the range.
Looking forward to a range report when you get around to it. Seems like there's a lot to like about it. People freak out about any little thing that goes wrong with new products, but that failure rate sited by SIG is still really low.

My "pre-order" finally come in. Took it to range this weekend and first impression was pretty good. Not as bore axis-y weird as a PPS (or as ugly). 100 rnds dumped through it in short order and it feels pretty good.
