Hey y'all! Time to show off those 1911's! So I started with a Kimber Grand Raptor II then picked up a Kimber Custom II and just recently ordered a Colt M1911 A1, here's a few pics, sorry no pics of the Colt right now. While no where as nice as my Kimbers here is my Para SSP 1911,( made in Florida) I haven't noticed any of the issues that Para had going on with the canted hammers or ejection issues and she's got a nice tight slide and an ok trigger so that puts me in a happy place hahahahahaha! I feel the same way about the Reloading thread hahahahahaha, but for whatever reason I feel compelled to read into it and now have a reloading book that I've been reading hahahahahaha

Just got my 1911's in that I ordered back in January! Well I bought one which was a special order through the Colt Custom Shop, and then my lucky ass won one in a raffle on base! I got lucky that when they came in there were only 2 out of the whole lot that had sequential serial numbers 30 and 31 so now I got sisters! I got them cleaned and lubed about 5 min after I got home and now they are resting nicely on the rack with the others


(I'm part of a C-130 unit , pretty cool to have the aircraft I've spent most of my adult life working and flying on engraved on the slide and of course the United States Flag (Union Forward))
