Cool to see it went down to $350. Sounds fun! Maybe if nothing else comes up around the house I could put away enough for this.

Yeah, I had old information when I first posted up the "interest" thread. After I spoke to the instructor again, I updated the old thread. There's also a split payment option to help spread the cost out. So you can save your slot, without having to come up with the funds all at once.

Do you have good commitments so far?
We've secured the location and date. And 5-6 registered already that I know of. Several more are pending CFO approval. Registrations are usually far below the number that express interest, but I'm pretty positive that this one will max out. I wouldn't wait until the last minute to sign up. I've still got to talk to South River Gun Club and Griffin Gun Club to spread the word with their members. Last time we just about filled the class from those two sources alone. Mike Mers is also recruiting from Sandy Springs Gun Club. I don't have access to the registration website, so I have to check with the instructor for actual numbers. Usually check in with him once a week. Cause we all have other stuff going on!

Are you thinking about coming? Would love to have you there.

I'll have to check, but I'm 99% sure I have Drill that weekend. I would love to build out one of my lowers, and rebuild a upper of mine.

Yep, I have army crap that weekend... I do have a question @DarthVader If I got a bunch of parts, to build a lower and upper, for me could you build my rifle? I'm not even sure if I'll have all the parts ready before the class, but I know I can get the parts together for less than $450 that Model 1 sales wants for the upper I want to build. ( and that price is w/o the BCG  ) I'll post a picture of what upper I want built as soon as I find it on line.

Yeah, I wish I could make it, I shoot them all the time, but I'd like to know the weapon a little better.
Yeah, with your experience on the M16 and M110, I was looking forward to having you there.

On the upper, is the flash hider going to be an SBR, pinned or will it be on a pistol lower? And are you ordering it complete or assembling from scratch? I can assemble it, no problem. But you'll need to order the barrel with the FSB already installed. Shoot me a PM and we can discuss offline.
