I was about to post this. I like it, I think it will sell really well being closer to the size of a G19.

I want to handle one when they come out. I'm definitely interested.

I like the feel of the 2.0 so assuming its the same situation as the g17 vs g19 then I am sure I will like it. The only downside to the 2.0 is that grip texture is too rough for IWB carry for me.

Put a set of rubber Talon Grips on it. Problem solved. I did that with my LCP II and it worked great.

It's not really an issue for me. I carry my G43. If I am carrying a larger gun its typically OWB so I have a shirt covering it. For those that carry IWB I wonder if a little sanding to knock the sharp edges off would fix it.

That might work, but I'm not a fan of permanently modifying a firearm that I don't know if I'm gonna keep forever or not.

Why not just get a Gock 19...
a 2x4 is more comfortable to hold.

the smith isnt as bulky in my hand. i used to have a g19g4 and tried to like it, i really wanted to like that kool aid. so, i shot the snot out of it. but just couldnt get comfortable with it. and trades it towarss something else.

if the g5 17's feel ok in my hand....i may try that kool aid again.

I guess that I have shot so many guns with crappy triggers, and huge grips. (M4's and M9's) that I don't mind the grip on the Glocks and want a semi auto that will go bang Everytime. I'm not saying that the Smith and Wesson won't, but there is a blue million things out there already to get the glock configured just the way you want it.

I have a 2.0. I carried it for a day, maybe two and stuck it in the safe. The placement and pertrusion of the magazine release caused the holster to release the magazine every time I sat down. Every time I stood up the magazine dropped to the floor. Tried a crossbreed and an alien gear with the same result.

Other than the fact that I can't carry it, I love it...

LOL.... I see people who buy $2000.00 dollar rifles that wont shoot any better than a $700.00 rifle. I wasn't trying to be a smart ass, it was more of a honest question... As a matter of fact the gun store up the road has them, I'll take a look at this week when they are not so busy.
