Because most the non-full auto rated cans aren't designed for mag dumps either. Also, you typically get shorter barrel ratings with full-auto rated cans. Not to mention, a couple hundred bucks and even less is not much in savings for the NFA game.

99% of you guys don't need full auto rated cans.

Why buy heavier cans rated for calibers you'll never own?

Probably. But it's a pretty common issue on the Omega.

Also, not my pic thankfully.
It's not really an issue. That tube has no mechanical effect other than holding a serial number.

I sort of like stuff like Sigs cans or even the new YHM cans with no tube, you can see the baffle welds on the outside of the can.

Roger that. Still surprising how many reports I've seen about that outer tube coming loose. Almost as many as the guys with bad Saker mounts.
