As I continue to wade into the abyss that is the AK I found a certain "look" I want. I know where one of these rifles is but it is overpriced and I refuse to pay $800 for what was once a $650 rifle. I REALLY like the look of the front sight integrated in to the gas block as can bee seen in the pic below.
Is it possible to add a gas block to a standard WASR like this? I read about the Venom Tactical gas block/sight but ti seems to be out of production. How difficult would it be to change gas blocks?
Yes, I basically want a poor man's Galil or Valmet look.
The rifle pictured is an M+M M10-762. I would just buy it and add Tech sights and be done, but I'm not going to get screwed on price.
