First, I'm not a gunsmith and my 1911 skills end at basic filing

Second, Ordering parts would be a trial and error nightmare. Okay, well maybe not a nightmare, but I bet there would be a few headaches

Third, when it's all said and done, you'll have a nice Fraken-1911 that you spent well more than you'd likely ever get back come sale time
