I know I'm about to get yelled at, but I would recommend a Taurus TCP. I think it's an improved LCP. Mine at least was 100% reliable, and had a better, but still really long, trigger than either of the two you mentioned.

I sold it and went to a Smith 642 for pocket carry when I need that option. Those little .380s are next to impossible to shoot well past 7 yards.
Second on the Taurus, as much as I hate to admit it I love mine. I can hit head shot size targets at 7-10 yards consistently. Its so damn small I honestly forget I have it, rides in the cargo pocket strong side all day everyday. On the other hand, its predecessor was a Keltec , so it didn't have to do much to be my new favorite.
