Subject line got your attention didn't it? Well, I finally updated my gun cleaning kit with CLP towards the end of last year after several decades of Hoppes solvent, Hoppes oil, and a little Remoil once in a while. At the strong urging of my LEO buddies I finally bought CLP only to find that I hated the aerosol version because it just dribbles the CLP out in a messy wasteful manner. Somebody on the other forum suggested I get an olive oil mister and I finally did. I went on Amazon and got a Misto olive oil mister. Pump it up about 12 times and it sprays CLP in a very fine mist. Now I can spray the gun down, leave it a while, and then wipe it down. Money well spent.

I picked up on the same tip and just happened to have a mister at the time. Been using if every since and even got a couple of extra "just in case". The art brush tip is good also. The Savage shotgun action is soaking in a work tray now and I just occasionally "baste " it with the art brush untill I need it.
