That my friend is a FV-SR killer if they can get them to market in a timely manner.

If they could have made these to accept 10/22 barrels it would have been epic. That being said, I would still love one.

And if they keep the price reasonable. One thing the FV-SR has going for it is it's price for what all you get. If this is a $400 rifle then the FV-SR is still safe.

I agree with you on the cost comparison- and with the nice laminate stock, CHF barrel, etc., I'm thinking this one is at least $300. I'll be very interested to see it come to market. I need a bolt action .22 for target shooting.

Its a nice gun for sure, but seeing how much the heavy barrel 10/22 costs I am not too optimistic that this will be under $400.

I had to go look up some specs on this thing- MSRP at $499, so yeah- I think you're pretty close with the $400 estimate.

Now I've got to go see what a similar CZ would run.
I am looking forward to seeing some comparisons of this with a FV-SR to see how they compare in accuracy.

Honestly it doesn't matter to me. I have owned 3 FV-SRs and I won't own a 4th unless it is just stupid cheap. I hate Savage rimfire magazines.

upgrading an FVSR to a similar qualoty stock is a $100+ task anyway

That and 10/22 mags FTW

Oh the mags help for sure. I am just thinking due to cost they wont be direct competitors so I wouldn't consider this a FV-SR killer. Even upgrading the stock on the FV-SR its looking like you would still come out cheaper.

Just under 400 for the suppressor ready, synthetic stock version....and it'll probably outshoot the Ruger.

Do they have an estimated release date? Im in need of a suppressor host since my IA slingshot should make bail soon. I saw an FV-SR for $229 the other day and almost snagged it up.

Dang that's nice...

I can't buy any more scopes because they're a good price. I've got this new Bushnell sitting in the box at home and I've been mentally fitting it on a new Ruger 22, now a CZ American, and an AR10.

That reminds me- I'm banning myself from the PSA website until 9:00pm tonight. If that dang CHF AR10 upper is still in stock, I just my order it.
