This sort of pertains to my previous discussion regarding the 30 ARX and the lack of compatibility with standard 556 mags, which seems to be a hurdle for any wildcat to cross before getting acceptance in the AR community.

The Uni-mag now bridges that gap for tons of calibers. It can hold everything from 556 to 458 socom without any issues

The UNIMAG can be used with 30 rounds of .223 Rem, 5.56 NATO, or .300 BLK, 29 rounds of 5.45x39mm, 26 rounds of 6.8 SPC, 25 rounds of 7.62x39mm, 24 rounds of 6.5 Grendel, or 12 rounds of 458 SOCOM

It is currently set with an MSRP of around $50, but hopefully the tech spreads to other brands who can begin to drive the price down and make more compatible mags.

The only issue with using a single mag for multiple calibers is mixing ammo that is close in size by accident. Like say 5.56 and 300 BO and 7.62x39 which could be a disaster if chambered in the wrong upper!
