Got that. It just looks tacky and cheap. They could've at least replaced the whole magazine assembly, instead this just replaces the floor plate.

That helps with recoil but scratches the barrel??

it will eventually become unaligned and fire off of your barrel.

If you want a braked mosin, then just thread the front portion 14x1LH
