I remember in 2004, we were working on alternate caliber uppers for M10 & M11/9. We had a running RPD & a Calico mag fed upper. An M16 & American 180 were in the planning stages.

Tech branch told us, if it didn't look like the original gun, it was a post sample.

Obviously things have changed. MAGA!

I offered to be a Beta tester since my Mac already has the TASK conversion.

I don't hear much about these now. I'm surprised you're running it, rather than a Max-11.
As a side note, I built & sold alot of TASK bolt assemblies back in 2004-7. Jim Weaver was one of the pioneers & advocate of the TASK slowfire. He got me an interview in SAR with Monty Medenhal.

My Mac had the TASK conversion as well as Stem mag conversion when I bought it. The Max 31 MK II upper I bought when my name on the list came up. Love the ability to shoot 72 rd drums, coffin mags or stick mags.

I have the Max 31 Ver1 and love the fact of using 72 rnd drums and coffin Mags but I just picked up this upper and it as a slow fire that uses the original Mac M-11/9 Mags.

Is that one running the CF-W bolt?

No it is not a CF-W bolt.
These are from a guy at the gun show (long grey/black beard) that sells a lot of AK parts, He has these uppers for sale.

It's an RPB fixed firing pin bolt, as sold by US Machinegun.com. Richard Lage used them until he was able to make his own.
