So in between med induced hazes I decided to write a review of the holster our illustrious minority member @Leshaire made for me. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and have nothing but good things to say about it. He made it special for me with a full “kydex dong” sweat shield to protect the rough finish of my Glock 19 from the fatty embrace of my muffin top waist. The cant is set perfectly and it keeps the gun nice and tight against my body. It does have adjustable retention, though I didn't need to mess with it.

Wearing my normal 2XL shirts there is no printing whatsoever so long as I don’t bend over ( which is hard not to be forced to do when you’re around @AirOpsMgr ). For $30 I don’t know that you can do better in a holster. He even goes as far as to make sure he gets the little details right, like rounding the edges of the kydex. This one little detail is how I determine a well-made holster from something slapped together. Sharp edges on kydex upset my delicate sensibilities….

Anyway, if you are in need of a quality and cost effective holster I recommend you see what @Leshaire can do for you.

It genuinely is. I will have him make some more stuff for me shortly...like a gun sheath for my wife's purse and something I can wrap in velcro to carry in my new VERTX EDC Gamut bag.

depends on what all you want. youre gonna shit when you hear how much i have in that one.....

those raven clips were $10 each and $10 more for the damn wing.

Im in the process of trying out a cheaper alternative with $3 clips and a different wing. here is the wing idea...

What do those "concealment" wings do? Are they like wings on a maxipad?

haha basically.

they press against the inside of your belt, therefore pressing the frame towards your body. the bottom of the frame where the mag pokes out doesnt print nearly as bad with the wing

interesting. I am likely going to need a holster that's tuckable very soon....how much would that super set up run?

yeah i buy most shit in bulk from diyholster to get a discount but i cant afford to buy $10 clips and $10 wings in bulk lol

usually their prices go down at like 25+ of something

I will let you know though. i have one right now thats done with $3 clips and that $3 "wing" so that would still be over $30 but not nearly as pricey as something like the above would be. wish i had a pic on me. ill try and remember to show you when i get home tonight

probably like 60.
around 40 for the same thing but with the cheaper clips and wing.

im looking for tuckable clips now. there are a few options and I like the loops like this (ignore the rest of the holster)

Are those clips on that super holster not tuckable? They look like they'd be.

Whatever it is I get needs to be really concealable....my new job isn't carry friendly.

now that im looking again they are. Id have to slightly raise the one over the slide though. easy enough though. id just replace the rubber washer with a small rubber spacer. same thing just thicker.

those are by FAR my favorite clips though. they fit the best, look the best, hold on the tightest...
