Weeeelllll..... I bought a Ruger LCRx 3 today. Thought I would share my initial thoughts. Damn thing is LIGHT. Those of you that know me, know that I really like ultra light revolvers. My EDC is a S&W 337 Titanium AirLite. 10.8oz unloaded. It's stupid light. And this one is DAMN close to it in weight.... 15.7oz according to Ruger. Considering the S&W 637 Airweight is 14.3oz, has over an inch less barrel, and a significantly shorter grip, that is VERY impressive. This would make an amazing woods revolver. CCW, I'm not sure. The sights might pose a snag risk. I measured the trigger in single action to be 5lbs. It feels less thanks to the wider trigger though. Double action is really smooth as well. I think Ruger states it's around 12lbs. I'm taking it out hopefully Thursday for a range report. IMG_0037.JPG

IMG_0045.JPG IMG_0046.JPG Alright, I was only able to put 10 rounds through it today. I'm kinda low on 38s. I will say this though, when I pick it up, the sights are lined up perfectly without having to adjust the way I'm holding it. Recoil is comfortable. I feel I could have put 200 rounds through it today no problem. First shot from each cylinder was dead on at 7 yards. The rest started straying down. I need to get to the range more. It's obvious I was anticipating the recoil. I think it's a keeper. I hope to see a 9mm or .357 version. I think that would be the only reason I'd get rid of this .38. And I'd probably still keep it as a back up.

Thanks. So it's very similar in size to a 19.

Funny thing was I found a few 5 round speedstrips in my workbench today and thought "well, now I have to get that LCRx so I have a use for these"
I bought a 308 once just because I had 308 ammo. It was the only logical thing to do
