Just HOW legal is the Magpul AFG1 on a pistol?

I cannot find solid answers anywhere so I will try to gain input from wherever I possibly can. Any knowledge on this? I have just obtained my first "pistol that is totally not a rifle." SAM7K specifically. Very SMOL and short AK.
