Not sure how these differ from the ones made in Austra, but I just got my Glock 19 made in the USA this weekend. Took it out shooting today and had a really good time. The Glock is a pretty great platform to use it seems like and I can see why they're so popular.

I'll be taking it out again for my CCW class so if anyone has any advice or tips let me know. Thanks everyone!

If you plan on using it as a daily carry pistol/fighting gun get rid of the junk plastic factory sights and have a good set of metal sight (with a squared front edge) installed. If you try to rack the slide during one handed manipulations, or are attempting to break open a stuck slide by hooking the rear sight you will rip it right out of the dovetail (seen it happen more than a couple times). I love my Glocks, but the first thing to always do is put good sights on them. Ameriglo Operators....Trijicon HD's.....whatever style you like.
