If you liked 9x19mm handguns (like I do) and were putting together a collection of what you thought were interesting or significant examples of the type what would you include? I think you have to start with the Luger, a Browning Hi-Power, a Beretta 92 and a Glock 17. What you you add?

I love my Kahr CW9. Got it for $355, so it's a worthy mention for the price alone. Nice and light to carry, not too small (3.6 barrel and full grip), 7+1, handles +P, very streamlined, easy breakdown, perfect performance through 235 rounds with minimal recoil. That's my offering!

I love 9s myself, my favorite.

Any Hi-power, Hungarian and Korean included!

I think a pocket nine is a must, like Sig p938 or Kahr... Love Kahr!!! LC9 even. M&P shield maybe.

A 1911-styled 9.

A 9mm chambered carbine for fun.

This is my XDm 5.25. I have installed laser cut traction grip inserts, My trigger breaks at 4 pounds, has minimal pre travel and zero over travel. Trigger reset is about 3/16 of an inch. Sounds like a hair trigger but at 4 lbs it just feels perfect. 3000 rounds and she shoots like new. My game weapon. Den

I think the Ruger SR9c is one of the best all around handguns that Ruger has ever made. Carries plenty of ammo, easy to conceal, shoots very accurately, sweet trigger, and good safety features for the people of California. The all time classic for me though, has to be the Baretta 92 that you mentioned in the OP. Unmistakeable profile and a dandy shooter too.

Couldn't agree more. Absolutely love the SR series.

I am a huge fan of the 9mm weapon. It's a proven round that is easy to control, potent with the right cartridge and will get the job done effectively. Here are the ones I currently own:

PM9

PPS 9 (also have it in .40)

SR9...one of my favorites...

I'm comfortable at any time with a 9MM pistol for SD. It won't shoot holes in various stuff like a .40, but that's not the venue I would anticipate anyway....different strokes... :)

My latest is a pre B non-import CZ75. 2-1/2 pounds of pleasure to shoot. I also like the Daewoo that belongs to my wife. Several others that are sort of run of the mill.

While I own and love my Ruger SR9, I think the Beretta 92 gets my vote, with the CZ 75 being a very close second. I've promosed myself, I will own one of those two within the next year, my 60th birthday.

My SR9C is the one gun, I would never sell. If I had only one gun this is it. So reliable, eats any ammo, shoots like a 22.cal and accurate.
