I figgered I'd start off this new forum area with a thread for showing your home-made holsters.

Here's the holster I made a few months ago for my LCP. I wanted something that would ride outside my belt but as high as possible. This really does nicely as the LCP hugs my body closely.

Note how my belt goes between the two layers of leather and the belt doesn't kink around the holster while going through the holster. This helps keep the pistol closer to my body than it would in the classic pancake holster design. I usually wear this holster with the belt going through a belt loop on my pants near the middle of the holster.

Nice holster Skip. I'm wondering if anyone has ordered any of the "Remora Strips and made a personal holster out of it?
