I have two cross breed, my brother has an aegis. They look virtually the same. I sprung for the horsehide, not really sure if that's worth it as I don't have one without it.

I have the hybrid and love it. I honestly forget I'm carrying.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A

I have had the aegis. Good holster but with my personal experience not a great business standard.

I currently am running a theis holster and it is great.

I've had a CB before....very comfortable but it is a big piece of leather so I always knew it was there...

I've heard great thing about Theis but I'm not 100% on them. I called and asked Tommy if he could make a 1 1/4" belt and he pretty much called me an idiot.

I guess every business has a bad review. I know that aegis would not do a custom holster, but theis stepped upto the plate real quick.

I've ran Aegis, CB, Comp-Tac, Phlster, and at least half a dozen. Ever since I got my hands on a BlackPoint tactical, I was extremely surprised. Every holster has pros and cons to me...anytime I think I've found the "Gem", I've found something better lol. Sorry, I probably didn't help.

Phlster.

I hate the CB Supertuck. You can't fully grip a pistol and need to buy bigger pants just wear it.
I wear one every day. It's a piece of leather with kydex and two clips. If that requires buying bigger pants I would think any holster would. As far as the grip goes, you can get the combat cut, which will help some, but it's still an IWB holster. I love mine.

I've had both and I preferred my Theis. The Aegis holsters were not bad holsters but I preferred my Theis. I had my Theis for 5 years and never had any issues. I had my Aegis for a year and in that time the clips broke and then the kydex shell cracked. Aegis sent me a new holster and clips free of charge but I never really trusted it after that.

Yes, Tommy made me a custom mag pouch for my 1911 mags. I sent him an email and he replied within minutes and had it made for me the next day and shipped out.
