Im looking at purchasing my first SBR from a dealer. Is there anything else I need to do besides get a tax stamp from the government?

With Trump taking office, do you think it maybe better to wait it out a few months and see if he has any plans for repealing the firearm act?

Currently you will are required to fill out 3 copies of the Form 4's , have 3(2"x2" passport photos for those forms), 2 (FD-258 finger print cards) and mail all of those to the appropriate locations, which your dealer will do for you. Also a certificate of compliance form. current wait time is 8 months for NFA items. some dealers are starting a wait list or down payment for said items if the new law goes through. so, the choice is yours.
