I have an M1 Carbine handed down from my grandfather. I cannot imagine EVER selling or trading this gun.

An original Ruger with red label from my dad.

Do you have any heirloom guns or ones that you cannot imagine selling or trading?

Will not sell my first rifle... Marlin model 60 from late 60's! My dad's first rifle!

1894 Winchester chambered in 38-55 made in 1910 handed down to me by my grandpa. It was a special order gun with the half octagonal barrel and "button" magazine. It's worth a pretty penny but it is priceless to me. My grandpa didn't have much so this is the only tangible thing that I have of his to remember him by.

Don't have any pics of it by itself but it is the one on the top.

If I'm not mistaken you have shot this one Hayata.

My boys received .22s from their grandfather. One belonged to his father and another from a great aunt.

They love the idea of the heritage.

Will snap a few pics next time I make it down to the parents house. That isn't technically "mine" yet but my pops has already told me that it is going to me (since I'm the only one in the family with any interest in firearms).

Those are really cool guns. And they still shoot great. Let me know when you need some more .22 ammo for the boys. I've got a ton of it laying around.

Has the 1903 been refinished? Damn I love those guns, also the 1908's in .380.

This is my very first non-air powered rifle. My parents gave this Model 60 to me on my 8th birthday. I remember seeing that familiar long box wrapped in Superman wrapping paper, and my heart just pounding through my chest. Against my mother's wishes, but with the assurance of my father that it would be ok, I actually slept with it in my bed for several months. I just love this thing. It's accompanied me on hundreds and hundreds of miles of woods walking in Nebraska, and taken so much game it'd fill a barge. It's still my all time favorite birthday gift. It's part of a huge mental library of wonderful childhood memories.

Don't have a pic but my dad's 1946 Remington single shot 22 is one I'll definitely pass along. He told me his uncle gave it to him when he was 5.
