Didn't realize they made 20 round ones. So you can shoot prone easier?

Hey FNG... go watch "Hamburger Hill" and "Platoon"...;) We use to use 20 round mags all the time... I cant remember if they use 20 rounds mags in the movie "Stripes"....

FNG? I've seen Hamburger Hill a few times, great movie. I saw Platoon a long time ago. Honestly I don't pay attention to details like that when I watch movies b/c I assume they aren't accurate.

What years did you serve? And when are you coming over?

FNG means... Fucking new Guy. I have been in and out of active duty since 1986... I have been active reserve, since a break in service from about 1999-to 2006... since then I was in the small arms readyness group, from 2006-2012 teaching weapons & marksmanship to guys going over seas, now looking to get the master gunners slot in the 84th training command...I want you to know I'm just kidding around when I say FNG... I still have a lot to learn about the NFA game. And I want to share as much info as I can about shooting. I was just busting your balls about FNG & 20 round mags... ;)

Let me know if you're ever holding a basic class at a local range, I'd pay to get schooled by someone that knows their stuff.

never saw the need for the silent capture spring. it seems like an expensive way to potentially cause a malfunction. every other day people are posting problems with their builds that are remedied by adding back the twang-inducing $2 standard spring and $15 buffer.

Add a bipod and that would be a pretty decent DMR.

A couple of set screws, a few licks with the stones and that factory trigger can be better than any aftermarket out there.

Upteen thousands of rounds... Never had an issue.
Between the tuned gas system to the JP silent capture, and the Triangle Shooting Sports Rolling Thunder, Emi Janes rifle has zero felt recoil and absolutely stays flat.
