So I havent owned a Glock in many years as I haven't liked em. Have a trade offer to get into a gen 3 Glock 19. Plan on keeping it as a spare in one of my vehicles.

Is there another difference between the finger groves on the Glock Gens?

Values between Gens differ or the same as ive seen prices all over the damn place.

No finger grooves on Gen 1 and 2. FGs on 3 and 4.

Gen4 has a captive recoil spring, interchangeable beaver tails, and a different stippling pattern as well.

Gen 2s 19s can be had for 300-350 at just about any police distributor although they are getting harder to find. I always laugh at the Gen 2s for Gen 4 prices.

Gen 3 19s can be found used in many gun stores for between 400-425. I couldn't imagine paying more for a used one since many times they can be had new for 450ish.

Gen 4 19s have the RTF finish, lefty friendly mag release and dual coil recoil spring. They sell for more than Gen 3s new (about 50 bucks) and they haven't been around as long so there aren't near as many used ones available and almost no police trade ins. As such, they seem to bring 450-500 on the used market in gun stores which is stupid since they can be found for 500-525 new.

I personally won't pay more for any Gen than another, and honestly prefer the Gen 3 over the Gen 4.

Purely cosmetic. Had this for over 10 & 10k rounds. No problems
