Glock gen 5

Any news on new glocks yet? Seems like gen 4 is getting a little dated and other manufacturers are getting new products and innovations to market faster and more often.

I haven't heard anything, but in my opinion the Gen 4 is about perfect.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I'm of the school of thought if those innovations aren't adding anything of use to aid in your ability to defend yourself or others then they really aren't that useful.


While the glock could stand for some minor improvements and tweaks like removing the finger groves from the grip, and a little trigger work. there really isn't anything ground breaking that could be added to it imo.

They just redesigned their pistols for a large government contract. It is very possible we will start to see those improvements trickle down to the consumer market in due time.
