I will be buying the first 48 I can get my hands on. Ed's told me they can't sell them until the 17th. A single stack Glock 19? Yes please! Only been asking for it for 10 years!
Also excited about the thought of a single stack 19. The 19 size is great, but a little thicker IWB. And I think it'll be comfortable in the hands as well.

He's not talking about the barrel. He's talking about the slide. Better sight radius. More area to have it milled to mount a Night & Force.
The slide length and barrel length will fluctuate in lock step. The sight radius might be longer or short, but not “better”.

So will these longer mags for the G43X and G48 work with the G43? I assume so but I've heard rumblings that this isn't the case.

The slide length and barrel length will fluctuate in lock step. The sight radius might be longer or short, but not “better”.

A longer sight radius tends to allow for more precise alignment which generally leads to better accuracy. However in quick shooting situations (ccw) it is unnecessary.
