again getting a Sig P226 soon in trade. I had a 229 once but only for a few days. The one I'm getting already has the SRT trigger.

I've been a glock guy and I know sigs don't have the huge amount of aftermarket crap that Glocks do.

So you Sig lovers, what, if any, are worthwhile upgrades to a Sig?

Also if anyone has any holsters,mags,etc.... You want to sell let me know.

Also already coming with 5 MecGar 20rnd mags and the Crimson Trace laser grip.

Sigs have use a bullseye hold instead of a 6 O'clock aiming point hold.

Like any other weapons, it is subjective. I like my 938 for summer and "dress up " carry. Little heavy but I like the fact I can carry hammer back. For edc I carry my g19 for capacity. Both serve me well.

If it already has the SRT then I'd say get a nice set of night sights and you're good to go. The reason there isn't as much aftermarket crap for Sigs is because they don't need them. ;)

Already has night sights with a TFO style front one. They are a little dim but still light up fine at night and that green fiber up front is great during the day.

I'd buy a bunch of Sig 226 mags. I haven't price them, but do they run the same as Glock mags?

Unlike Glocks Sig's tend to be great out of the box. I prefer the srt but the standard trigger is still pretty awesome, unlike the Glock sponge. As much as I like Sigs im not a fan of the 320, I think they dumped it down to the lowest common denominator for the Army trials so its slightly worse than the Glock.

From what I gathered they are a bit more expensive, but it's coming with 5 already. I will probable pick up two more that are the standard capacity/length for carry though.

the mags its coming with are 20 rounders, I would buy some of the 15 round ones just to make it a little easier to conceal. I also am a fan of having a ton of mags to avoid loading mags at the range.
I think the standard mags are 18. Not %100 though. If you can get OEM baseplates you could just remove the extendion

I dont have that many but I did stock up before the election. I think I have somewhere between 20-30 AR mags right now. Ill buy more but it is not a priority for a while.

Sigs are well built guns, but i dont care for them. I had a 220 and a 226 tacops. Lots of muzzle rise, i hate da/sa, hate the lump from the deco ker and the aluminum frame rails wear if you shoot them a lot.

But they are accurate and reliable

Haha
But really though, they are very high quality guns, and they may fit your hand better than mine. Theres other guns out there that are super popular that i dont like. Like a glock 19 lol. So my opinion is different than most

agreed on all his points plus some more below:

bore axis is too high on the P22X series so you get more muzzle flip.

probably the best double action trigger that you'll find in a stock da/sa service pistol. the decocker is nice but it's in the wrong place versus typical da/sa pistols. also slide release is the same way - sig put the decocker where the slide release typically goes and the slide release where the decocker or safety goes...has a mental and muscle-memory learning curve.

very accurate and reliable. they are heavy.

i prefer cz's to sigs for a da/sa pistol but i appreciate the sig design. it's just not for me (i've had three of them over the years - all P226's two in 9 and one in 40).

I imagine the bore axis would be much less of an issue in 9mm too. Mine were in 357sig and 45.

the 9 wasn't too bad but the 40 was significant on muzzle flip due to higher bore axis.
