So...as some of you know I need to pay out of pocket ( meaning no loans or aid is available to me) for the rest of my school tuition. It sucks, but can be done.

Anyway, I have that Krinkov and I have a full size AK-74 with a folding stock. I'm having a hard time justifying keeping both when even at worst case scenario I could have an extra $650 for tuition if I sell the full size and $1300 if I sell the krink.

Whichever rifle I keep is the one that will need to serve as my general purpose defensive rifle until I'm done with school.

The stamp for the Krink just came back yesterday.

Do I keep the Krink and SBR it?

Do I sell the Krink and keep the full size?

I feel nervous relying on a gun that has a real effective range of 100m as my only defensive carbine. The only other guns I have would be an old .30-06 Eddystone and a 30-30 Marlin...and my two G19s.

I also have in the back of my head how when Hillary gets in office NFA stuff will be low hanging fruit for her....

Keep the Krink, beyond 100m is not really too "defensive" and I have a feeling it would suffice in the very unlikely event you are presented with some 200m defensive situation.

I agree....in reality living even in Kennesaw 100m is a long way.

It's just so much money.

Then sell some other stuff... Cancel cable, walk to school.

Where there's a will there's a way.

well yeah...but we're talking about a gun not putting food on the table...

man I just don't know.

It's a lot of money...but I may not be able to buy another at any price in a year.
That's the thing. If it's at all possible, HIllary will without a doubt, implement AWBII.

School is the most important thing... I would sell whatever you need to sell, even selling both if necessary to give yourself the best chance of finishing worry free. you can always buy more guns before something is ever put in place legally.

You could essentially pawn your Krink to me. I'll give you a discounted value of $1000 for your Krink and hold it in my safe for 6 mo or whatever time frame you need. Then if you want to buy it back, you just give me the $1000 back. After a set period of time or if you just decide you don't want it, then just say so and I'll keep it. Win-Win

Unfortunately it would be roughly 1-1.5 years.
