3-4 years ago, their ARs could be had for $1100-1300, and that's during Obama. Now, they're $1300-1700 since they changed their furniture.

And it's ugly furniture. I have no doubt they are top quality rifles but my BCM upper with all the upgrades was still like $500 cheaper then a lower end DD upper.

are we sure that this isn't just a move to consolidate sub-entities into one company and possibly one location? i remember reading a while back that DD was expanding their Black Creek facility and closing down the Ridgeland facility. could this be related?

Never could justify a DD since a serviceable, quality ar can be had for $850.
