I had an issue with my CZ and Laxammo reloads.

I was shooting dueling trees and quite a few times the round kept the slide out of battery. Two of those looked they had light primer strikes.

Could have almost been an OOB discharge.

I say out of battery discharge at this point. Even a double charge of powder would be unlikely to do this in new brass. I like being my own quality control manager.

Out of battery- the raised ring at the base of the brass is a give away. The brass blew out at the weak point.

And I do not agree with the article- the loaded rounds cannot be weighed to determine the powder charge weight. There's a lot of variation in the weight of 9mm brass cases.
