So recently i've been bitten by the Clone bug! Im in the process of doing a Sopmod Block 1 with a 14.5" BCM and I like it so much I just picked up a Colt LE6920 to do another one. So heres a video showing the rifle and talking about my plans for it.

Feel free to leave comments and suggestions for this build!

The clone bug is a bad one. Pretty soon you'll be paying $400 for that heavy pic rail that was all the rage in 2009 vs. "settling" for that ultra-light keymod/m-lock for $150.

Cloning is all about retrogression and paying out the ass for it. Good luck!

I have a SOPMOD Block 1 and a MK18 Navy EOD

I have most of the parts to make my SPR a MK12 clone... but I still have a few of the most expensive parts to go.

It's a bug you dont want to catch is for sure.

Looks like a great project. Looking forward to seeing the barrel replaced and other parts going on.

I would love to do a MK18! I just don't know if I'd do it as a Pistol or go all out and do an SBR. I don't have any NFA items so I guess the mk18 would be a good one to start with! Haha

Yea when it's time for the Block 2 build that's where the wallet is going to get hurt! That RIS II rail is salty....... but awesome!!

It should be a lot of fun! I have an A2X in transit so as soon as it gets here the barrel will probably go straight out to Adco.
