Will the 1911 be added. I hope so. That would open other doors including competitions but FFL will need to be added where the Army has never needed it before. Follow along and see if 10,000 sales a year will be available.

I wounder what they will retail for... I'd very much like to have a surplus .45
Same here. I don't own one so this would be nice to have as a piece of history that functions too

RWVA membership is $10 a year, but doesn't get you anything. GSSF is $30 a year, gets you some swag, and a $100 coupon every year. Some range memberships count, you'll have to check.

I'm up for camping out like a star wars geek to get one or three.

Any rumors on pricing?

I've gotten a couple garands, but I would love to be able to go and get a carbine like you snagged or a 1903a3, but I can't take a Thursday off unless I know I'll score. I don't think the good stuff will still be around on Saturday, so I never go.

I'd love a line on anything good that's coming up, I'd make the trip if I had some inside info.

I'm guessing the bread and butter of those being listed are going to be a hodge-podge of parts.

Not sure if there will be any true "collector" quality guns offered but I'll still get at least one. Maybe two.

My Guard unit had 1911's back when I first joined and they were built so loose it rattled when you shook it. Still neat piece of history though.

My issue .45 rattled when you shook it as well. It was awesome. How many diffrent companies built .45's for the military? I personally want a Springfield .45 if the CMP has them, but I'd also settle for a Colt.

It will be awhile before they will be for sale, I qualified expert with the 1911 and they were rattle traps for sure. I would like to have an old colt, maybe someday
