Claude is the founder and lead instructor of Firearms Safety Training LLC. In his early career he served in Airborne, Ranger, Special Forces and Mechanized Infantry units in the United States Army as both an enlisted man and an officer. He eventually became a Special Forces A-Team Commander, Intelligence Officer and Mechanized Infantry Company Commander.
After his military service Claude was the Research Director of three commercial real estate firms and was the National Director of Real Estate Research for Deloitte & Touche LLP. At Deloitte, he was the creator of the first Real Estate Capital Markets Database in the US and was an advisor for the Real Estate Information Systems (REIS) Report.
Claude is an NRA Certified Instructor in six disciplines since 1989, as well as a master class shooter in four International Defensive Pistol Association divisions, and he has won six sanctioned IDPA Championships with snub nose revolvers.
