Are there any applicators in the Atlanta area?

Can I ship my pistol with instructions to the applicator and have it shipped back to my house? I'm assuming so.

I'm going to be cerakoting a Smith SW22 Victory 22 pistol.

My can is FDE, should I cerakote the pistol to match or make it black? Not that I'm all that fashion conscious, but which would you prefer?

Lastly, will a 5.5" pistol barrel keep all bulk pack .22 ammo subsonic?

Thanks

I was about to say the 5.5" barrel won't be a problem... but it turns out my 22/45 Lite is a 4.5" barrel, so I don't know for sure.

The 4.5" barrel is completely fine with all the bulk pack ammo I've shot through it- Federal Value Pack, Federal Champion, Winchester 333, and some others I can't remember.

Yeah, I might be on the line. I really don't want to have to cut an inch off and have it re-threaded. Why in the heck would they make a threaded 5.5" barrel anyway?

Good to hear, but the overall length will be kind of long.

You might get some sonic crack with some 36gr copper washed stuff. The posted velocity numbers are all over the place, depending on type and brand. Some of the 36gr stuff feels like it's only a few fps from a boom in my 4.5".

Then my Stingers and Velocitors will probably break the barrier. Oh well, I just plan on using them on piglets.

Georgia Firing Line in Marietta offers Cerakoting, Sharpshooters says they do as well, but they send their gear to GA Firing Line for it.

Give it to me. I'll take it to Frank at Dobbs. He's the best.
