These are from an area called Jonas Ridge, on the East side of the Linville Gorge. It is a few miles West of the Upper Creek Falls parking area.

Looks like paradise. Nice shots. My wife has been bugging the shit out of me to go to her family's cabin in TN, but this is more in line with my idea of a mountain getaway.
