Nice. I've done that in the basement with my son. I need to develop a way to catch the bb and airsoft pellets. My vacuum doesnt like running over them.

I'd bet that you could easily recover the BBs with a simple backstop and then you could use them over and over again. There's not even a cost for powder and primers. :p

My back stop is a 12 by 12 box with about 20 shop rags inside. Open it up and shake the BB's out.

I put in a new cartridge to see how many shots I could get out of it.
I shoot 160 BBs on one cartridge. At 155 thy started slowing down.
So I can shoot it for less then $.01 per shoot.
Here is the targets at 100 shots & 160 shots at 13yd one handed at fast firing rate.

I thought about this thread today when I walked by a trash bin at work. They were tossing out a stack of empty laptop boxes. I grabbed with the intention of making something to catch BB's in the basement. I think I will loosely fill it with paper towels or something, tape a target to the front and screw it to the wall for some indoor target practice. 8)

I use a 12"x12" box and put 2 - 2 inch thick pieces of foam I get from computer boxes at work in the rear of the box then I have about 5 more cardboard squares cutouts in front of that and a piece of plywood behind the box just in case.
