I was kidding about the ghillie suit. People (non snipers) actually use them?

Hey can't you see we are derailing your thread? How rude! Haha. I guess you could always coat yourself in Vaseline and roll around in the dirt and leaves for that natural look.:)

Carry your ghillie suit in a 5 gal bucket or you will pick up 20 pounds of leaves, briars and sticks on the way in.

Back to topic. Here's my long range precision rifle.

1933 (first year) Swiss K31 with clamp on scope mount, Redfield Revenge scope and clamp on muzzle brake.

Got to stretch her legs a couple of weeks ago at the CMP range. I'd be broke if that range was closer.

All the shots in the white were used to determine hold-over. Man, that range is shooting Valhalla.

Just goes to show you don't have to drop a boat load of cash to be decent.

How do you like that Redfield scope? I had the Revenge with the range finding reticle, but never had the chance to shoot past 100 yds before trading it off, so never got to see how accurate it was.

How much is it to shoot at the CMP range?

Love it. High zoom and pretty clear at the price point. But it is a budget scope.

I was swagging pretty hard because I had to leave the range so I never got it completely dialed in. Spent too much time on the 100yd line. I was using the bottom stadia line and aiming midway at the white area between the target and the lane marker number panel.

Hey DogLeg, $20 bucks half day. $30 or $35 full day. Shotgun range is more. Using the 600yd range includes free usage of the 100yd.

Not bad for a gun that's 83 years old...this was on the 100yd range.
