Anything mounted to the side rail will not allow the stock to lock when trying to fold it...

I figured so...at least it has a QD attachment. Hopefully it will hold zero after I remove it and re-mount it.

They hold zero very well. Make sure you use loctite on the screws that mounts the upper to the lower
