Recently picked up a Beretta 1301 after running one through the Fighting Shotgun class at Tactical Response.

My two gripes with it are that it requires an additional $60 piece to be "idiot proof" (http://www.aridusindustries.com/products/yt-1301-latch-and-shroud/) and that the magazine tube isn't flush with the barrel due to import laws...

Other than that it will shortly be replacing my 590A1 as my HD gun.

Ive been wanting a 1301 for a while. The shooters i talked to at the 3 gun matches had nothing negative to say about them. Did you get the tactical or comp?

sounds good. Bring whatever you want to run through it. I want to get at least 500 rnds through it before it replaces my 590A1

Sounds good! I shoot federal #7 shot 95% of the time, cause its cheap at walmart and ive shot thousands of rounds of it and never had ammo related issues.

I’ll be happy to help you get those 500 rounds through it. After a Shockwave a semiauto shotgun is on my list.

I appreciate it for sure. Hell even john from liberty suppressors jumped in and helped lol. We didnt know what to expect the first time. We will be more prepared this time!
