Armed&Legal LLCOur Ohio Concealed Handgun is a one day, 8+ hour introductory course designed for beginning and experienced students. This class meets and exceeds the educational and practical training requirements set forth by Ohio Law to obtain your concealed carry license. We offer multiple class dates for handguns so we view this as your first step in your formal handgun training. This course will qualify you to apply for your Concealed Handgun License with your local county Sheriff. We will provide you with all of the information and tools you will need in order to complete this course. You only need to bring a good attitude and a willingness to learn. We offer CCW classes in Hartville, Ohio or your home with a party of 5-10 people.We can provide everything needed to complete this course: An NRA Certified instructor (this is not an NRA course), Ohio Concealed Handgun License application form, Ohio Concealed Carry Law Booklet, targets, and eye and ear protection if needed. Please bring your lunch. We will break for lunch around noon. Due to time constraints everyone will have to remain on property during lunch. If you need a firearm just let us know when you register and we can provide one for an additional cost for ammunition. If you own your own firearm we strongly encourage you take this opportunity to train with what you own. If you wish to use your own firearm bring 100 rounds of ammunition. We only provide ammunition for our firearms. Please do not bring into classroom!Discounts for Couples: Our couples program is designed to encourage more couples to train together and for more women to take more responsibility for their own safety. This is great program for traditional couples, father-daughters, brother & sister or even two ladies will qualify as a couple for our CCW class. Both parties must register at the same time. In order to take advantage of the "couples" pricing we require that one person in the couple must be female. This offer cannot be combined with other discounts.This class will provide you with the basis for building a solid foundation of fundamental concepts and essential techniques necessary to begin developing a substantial defensive mindset and efficient gun handling skills. This course will focus on the defensive uses of the handgun as well as competitive and recreational use of this firearm.Our course will include training in the following matters:1.The ability to name, explain, and demonstrate the rules for safe handling of a handgun and proper storage practices for handguns and ammunition2.The ability to demonstrate and explain how to handle ammunition in a safe manner.3.The ability to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to shoot a handgun in a safe manner.4.Gun handling training to include range time and live-fire experience.5.Concealed Carry Issues as they relate to Ohio Law.6.Review of Ohio's Concealed Carry Publication.7.Firearm selection, holster options and concealment methods.Additionally each student. . .8.Must pass a written exam demonstrating handgun competency usage and rules.10,Pass a live fire exam that tests his or her competency regarding handgun usage and the rules for safe handling, storage of a handgun and a physical demonstration of the attitude necessary to shoot a handgun in a safe manner.________________________________________LOCATION: 224 Maple St Hartville, OH 44632 - Call for information and to sign upTIME: 8:00 am - 4:30 pmDATES: most Saturdays - call for dates and availabilityCOST: Single person $80.00email me or call show contact info You can pay with PayPal or cash the day of class.
