That’s my dilemma with these right now....

Preorder an untested (by the public) product at a lower price and risk it not living up to the hype

OR

Wait until it comes out and risk it being a huge success and selling out everywhere and then having to pay flipper prices for it.

Yeah, you'd better use the rover. There are several pounds of steel in that scooter...I'd surely put the merc out of service.
