Well, I know, but besides that....

I'm thinking about getting one of those Chiappa Little Badgers to goof off with. Mod it survival mode and throw my Oculus on it. Maybe harvest some squirrels? Worst case, I'm out $150. I think it's worth it.

I've been debating it for a while, but OffGrid featured it recently and I just really liked what they did with it. And speaking of that Article, what's up with that Gemtech QD adapter for 22lr!?! Much want! @Red Dawn @Cudruln

You know that you could build a survival .22 lr gun out of anything. A Marlin, with either a tube fed mag or a small 7 round mag. Not to mention all the stuff that you could do with a Ruger 10/22 or better yet, a 10/22 take down rifle...

Hard pass on that rifle, and it looks like it would be uncomfortable to walk in the woods with it.

Bro, I have a 10/22 takedown. I'm good with that. This is strictly gonna be a goof off single shot fun gun. If SHTF it wouldn't be my go to. Lol

It’s an interesting looking little gun. I like pretty much anything chambered in .22 anyway so it’s a “yes” from me.

I’ve always thought a Cricket or a Savage Rascal would make a cool little backpack gun, but neither of them comes threaded and the Little Badger does.

Find a old single shot. 22 then, and modify it to your needs. I have a feeling that you would end up hating that survival rifle. Not to mention, have you read anything about how accurate it is?

Your money and all that, but this is one of those situations where I think that 150 could be used better elsewhere. About anywhere in in fact. I can't possibly see a single hole that thing fills.

You keep talking about a better scope. Take that 150 and start a new scope fund.

Not to mention, I bet a decent decent Ruger Mark, S&W Victory, Buckmark etc handgun is more accurate. And still smaller and holds more rounds.

Hell, spend the $150 on the Gemtech mounts and adapters. I have it and have the 4 lug adapter on multiple rifles. It is fantastic. No loss of zero and quick on/off.

That was my other idea. But as you said, it would have to be threaded. And I'd have to do something with the stock. I'm going for the minimalist look. Wire frame stock is a plus in this case. We need to get together and shoot bang bang.

Dude, it's a waist of money. IMHO, so many better options out there for what you're looking to do with that rifle.

I've actually read that it is surprisingly accurate. And it's not about filling a hole. Like I said, just goofing off. But thanks for the advice on the Gemtech RD10! Definitely makes me feel like I'll be investing in one. I was worried about POI shift with them.

It eliminates poi shift. That's why I use it!

If that’s what you want go for it. I had a takedown charger for awhile thinking I could pack it camping and get squirrels with it. Then I found a Mark IV 22/45 and sold the charger

I’m gonna have to get out to a range M&G with y’all sometime for sure.

I’ll bring my $200 Savage FV-SR and at least TRY to hang with what you guys are doing.

Yeah man! Hey, I'll never knock an FVSR. I know a lot of people who run them and love them. I just happened to have a little more in the budget that day when I bought the 455.
