I beg you, please reconsider. Get a Glock 26, same size, 5 more shots. NEVER timing issues. Easier to reload/ carry ectra mags.

Doesn't it make more since to use a gun for backup that is chambered in the caliber that you are carrying an extra 30 of?

I respectfully disagree. A J-frame revolver is a great carry gun for a lady. My wife is an excellent shot but can make a Glock ftf 1/2 the time without trying. A modern revolver aint going ro fail with a timing issue 99 999999% of the time. My wife has several guns to choose from but always carries either her LCP or a Charter Arms undercover.

I agree with you in most cases good Sir, except for Sam isn't '' most ladies'' and is unlikely to limp wrist etc.

I carry a G19 and a G26 daily, and occasionally I toss in a Ruger LCR38 +P with a clip draw. The trigger on an LCR is the smoothest I have ever squeezed.

Charter Arms does make a revolver chambered in 9 or 40 and Glock mags work well for speed loading. Just not sure if I would trust a Charter Arms gun

I had a Taurus 66 that would shoot very accurately and consistently. Just like a Smith except the finish.

Smith would be my first choice. Charter would be 2nd. Either will work and we own both. Charter makes as good gun for SD. Early Charter is good but the Charter 2000 finds are garbage.

I would love a Charter Arms 44 special for carry.
