90+% certainty, El Nino.

I was just listening to a story on NPR about the forecast of the El Nino for this year. 90%, which is basically absolute certainty in meteorological circles. Not only that, but this could be the strongest El Nino in recorded weather history.

So, what does this mean for the Southeast? Colder temps, and more precipitation. Well, we've been warned. It might be a good idea to begin thinking about the emergency kits for your vehicles, and looking over those generators before fall.

Bring it! It only sucks if you live in a crowded metropolitan area.

I've done pretty much all of those things in my neighborhood after a big(ish) snow. btw, the hood from a 1960's dump truck makes a great two man sled, but they have shitty brakes.
Sliding down your driveway < pulling sled at 40mph over hills and down valleys on 300acre pasture.

Down the street behind a four wheeler, and into the baseball diamond. Nobody goes out when it snows, they're terrified of it.

Through the woods behind 4wheeler on sled hammered drunk dual wielding AK pistols and shooting like a mad man.

Top that!
