I picked up a scope made by a company I'd never heard of before. Reviews on snipers hide are positive and recommended as a best buy for the money. Plus I didn't have to pay retail.
The scope is an Athlon Argos BTR 6x24x50, mil reticle/mil turrent 30mm tube, side focus, illuminated. Compared to the Viper PST, I couldn't see paying the $450 difference. I did handle both side by side.
Now waiting on my LaRue mount, which shipped today.
