I carry a Glock42 for deep concealment and a 19 for EDC. That being said, I just put several rounds through a Ruger LC9 and was very impressed. For the money, it's hard to beat. Kahr makes an excellent pistol too. The CW line is economical. I do love Sig but, damn, they are proud of them.
