I use the Franklin Brass ones offered by The Home Depot. You might want to see how slippery the surface is when your hands are wet. The ones that are engraved seem to provide a better gripping surface. I feel more secure with it.

Yogi, congrats on a nice trade. I've had a second generation G-30 without the rails for many years. It's been a great gun without any issues or failures. The tenth round is a little hard to load in the magazine but my Uplula makes up for me. Have fun with it!

Ditto on the 9mm handgun and flashlight. I also have available a .45cal handgun and a pit bull. The truth is the pit bull is the primary deterant early warning system hopefully negating the need for the other stuff being deployed. But it's ready just in case.
