    Interesting 9s

While I own and love my Ruger SR9, I think the Beretta 92 gets my vote, with the CZ 75 being a very close second. I've promosed myself, I will own one of those two within the next year, my 60th birthday.

I also used Rick @ Kentucky Gun Coatings. I'm very happy with his work as well!

New Taurus SS M605 .357 Magnum range report

Well, I've been to four LGS's in the last 24 hours. Bottom line, not much out there in stock. I'm kind of looking at revolvers. I found one store had a Ruger SP101 (38 Spl.) for $500, don't really want to spend that much. Another store had a used Taurus model 85 (38 Spl), asking $270 for it...

New Taurus SS M605 .357 Magnum range report

Man I've really been wanting a revolver. I don't want to spend or have a lot of money to spend on one and this one really interests me. Thanks for the post! I've also been interested in trying a Taurus, so this would kill two birds with one stone. Wonder if my wife would recognize that this...

    RATS! 4,500 men down!

I had a situation recently where my package (ammo) was listed as on the truck for delivery by the end of the business day from UPS. I got home from work late that night and asked my wife if she had seen a package fom me, as she'd gotten home earlier. She said, no I didn't see a package. So, I...

What would you like for Christmas?

    That would do the trick!

What would you like for Christmas?

Mine would be a CZ 75b. I've been wanting one for some time. Don't really need it, my SR9 performs perfectly, but it would be nice!

    Happy birthday to me

Happy Birthday and congratulations on your purchase! I dropped by my local gun store this am, I was in the area getting a haircut. I got there a little early, about 10 minutes before openning and people were lined up waiting at the door! No big promotion going on, just people fearing their...

    What was your first handgun?

My first was a Ruger SR9. That was just a couple of years ago at 56 years of age. I quickly realized I really enjoy shooting and purchased a 22lr pistol less that a month later. That 22 has been replaced by a Ruger SR22p and I'm making up for my late start with lots of range visits.

    Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!!

Sorry about the condition of your returned rifle, however, if you can pass it off as an 80 year old rife it may be even more valuable?

    Kahr CW9

Trigger, thanks for your response. I think that is exactly the problem my brother was experiencing with his CW-40. I'm sure Kahr make a good product, there are too many positive reveiws for that not to be the case. I just wonder why they are engineered in such a way that make it so easy to...

    Kahr CW9

You've got that right! Lot's of great choices out there. Beretta Nano, S&W M&P Shield, and I was just reading about the Sig P290rs about $600, a little too rich for my blood. Which is still another reason I'd like to be a Kahr fan.

    Kahr CW9

Seems like people are either lovers or haters when it come to Kahr guns. I really want to love them, but I have a hard time getting past how hard they are to field strip and re-assemble (this is second hand info, as I've never done one myself). That's a biggie for me, as we all know how...

    Please join me in prayer

Almost hate to ask, but has anyone heard anything from Verticolti recently? It's been about 3 weeks since he's posted to this thread. I know he has his hands full, just wondered if maybe I missed a post elsewhere. We continue to keep his wife and him in our prayers and thoughts.

    Please join me in prayer

You know, nothing beats a BM when you've been unable to have one for an extended period! So glad she's feeling better. Lots of prayers still coming your way.
