    Alternatively, you could swap out the entire front sight block for a 74 block. Could be a little easier than making a bayonet lug from scratch, assuming the barrel diameter is close.

    Should I get a Surefire trainer suppressor? I can't own a real one, but I might be able to use the attachment point.

    One last important part of the conversion is to open up the magwell, since Galil mags are a bit wider. But all the work is worth it. That gun looks so much better with the correct mags.

    Not entirely true. The bolt catch still works with OG Galil mags, but has to be modified a bit so it doesn't tilt cartridges out of a loaded mag.

    You should soak the parts in oil first. The krylon will stick better.
