Another mystery for the gang to solve....

SkipD, Great looking shotgun. I am guessing you have tried, but just in case, I find that when you have a screw that will not loosen it is best to secure the piece you are working on and then try and tighten the screw beyond where it is. This will break it away from the corrosion that is...

    What the heck?

davevabch, I like reading and research so I have a shelf full of books on reloading. It can be helpful to have different ones as they will list different powder for different bullets sometimes. One book might have a listing for WIN231 for a particular bullet but not for IMR. I'll give...

    380 over pressure

Reloading is a great hobby. I had bought a mess of .380's before I bought the LCP for the wife so we had no need for ammo to practice with. I wasn't even thinking about reloading so I never saved the brass. We still have a lot of factory left but I'm collecting brass right now. I save all...

SR22 - It took me by surprise

I've never run anything but Federal Champion bulk through my SR22 and our 22/45. I may just be lucky, but I have never had a problem with the cheap stuff. I'm also happy with the accuracy of both pistols although the 22/45 is the better of the two for making one small hole. I would guess...

Nice LCR mukwah. My wife had one in .38spl. but we never did like it. She switched to a S&W Shield pistol for her EDC.

The only problem I had was with the top hollowpoint in the magazine not feeding when the pistol was new. After about 50 rounds that problem mostly went away. My friend had a list of things done to his a long as your arm. No problems, just getting it the way he wants it. Fine looking gun...

My wife wants to pull the trigger on this:

I agree with any firearm my wife wants to buy. Heck, I even agree with the shoes she wants. She buys me pistols I like and that makes it a good trade. Just got our Second M&P Shield Sunday and it is for me!

What are you planning on acquiring in the next 12 months?

Picked up our second shield today. I'll carry it when I find the right holster. I might have to pocket carry with an empty chamber to start. I don't like doing that though. My wife carries hers in a holster in her purse in a separate compartment.

What are you planning on acquiring in the next 12 months?

That is one fine handgun! My Super Blackhawk was a very nice polished blue model with a 7-1/2 bbl. Should have sold my car instead of that and the 4" Pythin.

    Reloading and the very beginner

I just started a few months ago and picked up a RCBS Rock Chucker kit on sale. It was a good start and I've heard people who bought Lee and other kits and liked them. Graf is good because of a one price shipping cost of $5.95 regardless of the amount you buy. I also like Starline cases if...
